Of all the culinary trends that took Lisbon by storm (from brunch spots to smash burgers), one market became the most noticeably oversaturrated: a huge influx of omakases serving sushi, sashimi, and more at a premium price point. Yoso makes it different.
Yoso, a relatively recent addition to this arguably oversaturated market, made a big splash when it was awarded a Michelin star in 2025.
The restaurant is classy fine-dining par excellence, with its chef’s preparing various plates of seafood with a speed, dexterity, and precision that give most Lisbon omakases a run for their money.
Yozo is a beautiful experience, and a delicious one to boot, but like many Michelin-starred restaurants, it is also undeniably serious, so don’t expect the waitstaff to break their script with you.
