Bibs might look like any ordinary pastelaria from the outside, but as soon as you bite into their pastrami, mushroom, bresaola, or eel sandwiches, you’ll realize that this eatery fills an urgent market gap in Lisbon; namely the no-frills cold-cuts Italian deli! The natural light that bleeds in through the windows, the green paint job, and the easygoing atmosphere make this one of the best lunchtime joints in Santos.
And for sandwich (and pie) lovers like myself, Bibs hits a spot that I assumed would only be satiated during my next vacation to Manhattan.
