In my five years of slowly uncovering Lisbon’s food scene, I was most surprised to discover just how much of a “burger city” it is, thankfull to Stack Burger.
Throw a stone in any given direction and its likely to hit a burger joint, and while many of them are actually quite good, there are common criticisms that hold them back: too much butter, store-bought buns, inconsistent meat quality, and perhaps most common of them all, bad french fries. None of these issues apply to Stack Burger, a small smash burger joint with three options on the menu: The classic, the house, or the exit smash.
Yes, there’s also a secret, off-menu chop-burger, but you didn’t hear that from me. The Stack Burger has the best burger in town!
