Shree Ram is the kind of warm, homey veggie dream that begs to be consumed on colder winter Lunchs, when you find yourself rained out of outdoor seating and want an easy Uber getaway as soon as you’ve paid the bill.
Located in Saldanha, Shree Ram checks a lot of boxes: It isn’t at the top of an impossible hill, off a busy road that cars can easily reach, and still peacefully quiet indoors, serving up smokey paneer curries and steamy cheese naans.
It’s a family establishment where every spicy dish is made with love; so much so that it has become a routine visit whenever I’m feeling a little under the weather: Few dishes will clear your sinuses quite like their spices.
