“The best pizza in Lisbon” will forever be an unresolvable debate, and the conversation only grows more difficult with each passing year as the diversity of pizza joints grows. But Rico’s Pizza have a word to say.
As a lover of perfect “delivery-friendly” pizzas, I’ve always been partial towards a New York pie, and until Enrico and his partner Carolina opened the New York pizza joint, Rico’s Pizza, I passively (perhaps begrudgingly) accepted Neapolitan dominance in Lisbon’s food scene. The truth however is that Rico’s is everything I want in a pizza joint and more: it’s not fancy or fussy, its pizzas are straightforward, topped with classic ingredients, and delivered in a setting that’s fun.
Casual, and doesn’t expect me to spend more than the price of a single pie.
