When Delphi cheesesteaks first opened, I was genuinely shocked. Not only did I never expect to find a real, Ameican-owned Philly cheesesteak joint in Lisbon, but I also never would have expected a business of this sort to innovate its menu so frequently and actually offer a fresh spin on the “American hot sandwich”.

What first began as a Philly cheesesteak that’s made with picanha instead of ribeye (a fresh idea in its own right) quickly avalanched into a business that now whips up a sensational buffalo chicken parm and a black pork secretos sandwich that gives the entire establishment a unique Portuguese twist!

Delphi could very easily rest on its laurels of being the only Philly cheesesteak joint in town, but its commitment to local ingredients and thinking outside the box have made it a uniquely memorable staple of the food scene.
