Lisbon has no shortage of burger joints, but sandwiches are a lot harder to come by. The same week I told my friends that I was craving a Cuban sandwich, I was informed about the opening of Tosta sandwich kitchen, as if God himself decided to make my Lunch.

Like many Anjos hole-in-the-walls, this tiny eatery can barely hold more than 6 people, but the explosive popularity for their thick, juicy, and always fresh Cuban sandwiches have made them one of the best fast-food joints in the neighborhood, with long lunch lines that will occassionally test your patience. Owned and operated by a former Tasca Pete chef, Tosta’s cool, chainlink interior design gives way to an inviting little deli that boasts a phenomenal array of hot sauces!

These baddies will take your Cuban, your chicken caesar, or even your veggie sando into another stratosphere. Don’t sleep on them!
